Lucia Negro, concert pianist Lucia Negro is one of Sweden’s most highly acclaimed pianists, appearing often on radio and television. As a piano soloist she has collaborated with conductors such as Paavo Järvi, Kyrill Kondrashin, Rafael Kubelik, Esa-Pekka Salonen and Leif Segerstam. Lucia Negro performs as a piano soloist with orchestras, gives solo piano recitals and often plays in chamber music contexts. She is a member of the Royal Academy of Music and has made over twenty sound recordings, most recently the Goldberg Variations by J. S. Bach was released in the autumn of 2008.
